Victorian-style mahogany/walnut cased Barograph made by SHORT & MASON of LONDON, early 1900s.
The case is well made with side pillars and thick bevelled glass, also a 2-compartment chart drawer with a beautiful brass handle.
The 8-vacuum chamber is set on the brass base, and the 8-day clock drum marked "PATENT. 3715 02", and it has a winding key. There is an ivorine nameplate attached to the base.
The instrument is in very good condition for its age and it is in working order. The barograph also comes with instruction papers, a glass ink bottle, and spare charts in the drawer.
The case measures approx. 15" x 9 1/4 " x 9 1/2"14
