Strategic Account Sales Full-Time Position Available Netherlands The Fastenal Company would like to invite ambitious, hard-working individuals to apply for the position of Business Development Manager in The Netherlands. Overview: Working within Fastenal Europe as a full-time Business Development Manager reporting to the Strategic Account Manager, you will be expected to grow and manage several large multi-site local and strategic account customers. The successful candidate will be a person with the desire to develop into a TRUE professional sales person with a strong passion and ability to make corporate level sales calls and presentations. The successful candidate must be comfortable planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: o Grow their book of business and discovering new growth opportunities within the local market o Manage a group of sales and implementation teams and ensure full sales cycle execution o Managing and documenting cost savings, lean programs, implementation, and supply chain o Managing customer relationships and expanding/solidifying the headquarter relationship o Assisting and working in parallel with District Managers, General Managers, to grow and implement all locations specific to the headquarter relationship as a multiple site agreement o Managing contract obligations with Fastenal Stores and Customer o Perform high level presentations

Position Qualifications: o Possess a bachelor's degree in Business (or Fastenal equivalent experience) with at least 1 - 2 years of sales experience o Career motivated o Excellent oral and written communication skills, in Dutch and English, German a plus o Previous Project Management experience is preferred o Individual must be organized and a self-starter o Comfortable making high level customer sales presentations o Able to work as part of a team with Fastenal Store, District, and Global Accounts personnel o Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access Database and PowerPoint o Ability to travel domestically and globally approximately 40%, with a willingness to relocate or reside in Europe. o Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to meet our MVR requirements
